# The Flickrz Token
**Token Type and Compatibility -** The FLKZ token, which is based on the BEP-20 standard, is the heart of our ecosystem. While FLKZ is our major token, BNB will also be accepted as payment option on our platform. Our token distribution ensures that the ecosystem is balanced and stable. FLKZ tokens can be used to purchase Badges and unlock next episodes of comics.
**Token Distribution -** Our token is distributed in several categories, including community, ecosystem, marketing, investment, reserve, and team. To prevent token flooding and to ensure responsible token management, we have devised vesting strategies.
